"Launch of STAGE (South Tamilnadu Advisory Group for Empowerment)"

Southern region contributes to the growth of entire country and for global businesses. Many Successful organizations / brighter brains from South make their brands shine at Global scale. Still Southern districts are deprived of adequate opportunities and its growth is constrained, challenged. While various trade and industry bodies actively work on this area, ConsoTree held discussions with those forums and constituted an advisory group for Southern Tamilnadu to be empowered and prospering. With the elite and distinguished leaders of the region, ConsoTree spearhead development centric action and catalyse for growth. The District Collector of Madurai Mr. K Veeragava Rao I A S, Madurai Ex. Mayor, Legislator and veteran Mr. V V Rajan Chellappa and leaders from various bodies such Confederation of Indian Industries, Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce and Madurai Tiny Small-Scale Industry association (MADITSSIA) and Software Industry Development Association participated in the Launch of STAGE forum. Eventually, Advisory panel met up with the Hon’ble Tamilnadu Chief Minister Mr. Edappadi K Palanisamy and submitted a memorandum.

Industry - Institute Collaboration

Collaboration among Institiutes and Industries has been emphasized and almost everyone agrees. When it comes for execution, Industries often find very less time and resources to spare for Students from the institute. The faculties in the institutes are not sure how each industry function and how to make it work. Caught between these 2, the students are orphaned and clueless what they should do.

If its approached properly, with appropriate planning and hand-holding upfront and objectives are communicates well, a suitable working model with checks and balances are evolved with Task ownership on Industry side and managing students on Institutes side with a Faculty as point contact, it goes well.

ConsoTree’s Role

ConsoTree has engaged Thiagrajar School of Management, Madurai, Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli to deliver superior results in mission critical Research programs, to quote as an example. Besides, ConsoTree continues to work with various industries on important programs.
